Storytellers On Tour Presents: The Archive by Dan Fitzgerald

About The Archive

In Hollow Road, three companions taking a friend’s body home for burial discovered the man-beasts of legend were all too real. Though their encounter with the Maer resulted in tragedy, a seed of hope was sown that ancient enmities might be set aside.

Maer legend tells of an underground library called the Archive, the repository of all knowledge of their great civilization from before the Great Betrayal. A mixed group of humans and Maer set off on a historic quest to find the Archive and protect it against those who would use its magics to start a war. They trek through forbidding mountains, beset by dangers they could never have imagined, as the cold of winter bears down upon them. They follow a set of ancient clues deep into the Silver Hills, forging surprising alliances and making new enemies.

The humans and Maer are linked by more than their quest to find the Archive and stop a war. A mystical surrogacy may bridge the gap between the two peoples, and many hearts grow intertwined as their adventure hurtles toward its bloody conclusion.

The Archive lands on December 4, and the trilogy concludes with The Place Below on March 4, 2021, when the Maer’s darkest secrets will at last be brought into the light.
